AlmaForge Terms of Use

Effective: March 2026

In these Terms of Use ("Terms"), "AlmaForge", "we", "us", and "our" refer to the company identified below. "You" and "your" refer to the individual or entity accessing or using the Services defined below. These Terms should be read in conjunction with the Privacy Policy.

These Terms govern your use of the following services we provide:

  • the almaforge.com website ("Website")
  • software download and package infrastructure ("Distribution Services")
  • hosted evaluation environments ("Demo Environments")

together, the "Services". By using any of the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

The Services are intended for business and professional use. By using the Services, you represent and warrant that you are acting in a business or professional capacity and not as a consumer. The Services are not directed to children. You must be at least 18 years of age to use the Services.

Website​

The Website is provided for informational purposes. We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any content published on the Website. Content may be changed or removed at any time without notice. Nothing on the Website constitutes professional, legal, security, or technical advice.

Software Distribution​

AlmaForge software is available for download through package repositories, container registries, and direct binary downloads.

These Terms do not grant any license to the software. Your rights to use the software are governed by the applicable license agreement, including the AlmaForge Free License or an Enterprise License Agreement covering the relevant deployment.

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Distribution Services, change download URLs, rotate signing keys, or remove specific versions at any time without notice. We are not obligated to maintain availability of any particular version or artifact. Software is provided through the Distribution Services on an "as is" basis, and you are responsible for verifying integrity and authenticity using the published checksums and signatures.

Demo Environments​

We may provide hosted demo environments to allow evaluation of AlmaForge without local installation. Demo environments are provided entirely at our discretion and may be hosted on third-party cloud infrastructure.

Demo environments are temporary, unsupported, and provided strictly for short-term evaluation. They are not intended for real data, sensitive information, or any form of production use. We make no commitment regarding availability, uptime, performance, or continuity. Demo environments may be suspended, reset, or removed at any time without notice.

Any data created within a demo environment may be deleted at any time and may not be recoverable. You should not rely on the continued existence of anything in a demo environment.

You must not use demo environments to:

  • process personal data of third parties
  • test against systems you do not own or control
  • attempt to access resources outside the demo environment
  • probe or test the security of our infrastructure
  • engage in any unlawful activity

Access to demo environments may require authentication through a third-party identity provider, governed by that provider's own terms.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we accept no liability for any loss, damage, or other consequence arising from your use of or reliance on a demo environment.

Intellectual Property​

Content on the Website, including text, graphics, logos, and documentation, is the property of AlmaForge or its licensors. The AlmaForge name, logo, and product names are trademarks of AlmaForge. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use our trademarks without prior written consent.

The software may include open-source and proprietary components. These Terms do not modify or supersede rights granted under applicable open-source licenses.

Acceptable Use​

You agree not to:

  • use the Services for any unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purpose
  • attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Services or related systems
  • interfere with or disrupt the operation of the Services
  • scrape, crawl, or extract data from the Website or Distribution Services, except through normal browser use or standard package manager operation
  • misrepresent your identity or affiliation
  • access or download the Services from a country subject to a comprehensive UK, US, or EU embargo, if you are listed on any applicable restricted parties or sanctions list, or for any prohibited military or weapons-proliferation end-use

Suspension and Termination​

We may suspend or terminate access to any of the Services at any time, with or without notice, where reasonably necessary to protect the Services, comply with law, respond to abuse, or enforce these Terms.

Third-Party Services​

The Services may link to or rely on third-party services and infrastructure. We are not responsible for the content, availability, or conduct of any third-party service. Your use of third-party services is at your own risk and subject to their respective terms.

Indemnity​

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless AlmaForge, its affiliates, and its service providers from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in any way connected with your misuse of the Demo Environments or your violation of these Terms.

Disclaimer of Warranties​

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Services are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory.

Limitation of Liability​

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

Subject to the above, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, AlmaForge shall not be liable to you for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunity, arising out of or in connection with these Terms or your use of the Services, regardless of the theory of liability.

Changes to These Terms​

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised version number. Your continued use of the Services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Entire Agreement​

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any applicable software license agreement, constitute the entire agreement between you and AlmaForge with respect to your use of the Services. They supersede all prior or contemporaneous communications, proposals, and representations with respect to the Services.

Severability​

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be enforced to the maximum extent permitted by law, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

Governing Law​

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms.
